Sheepskin Half Pad PM System – Brown/Brown

A fantastically soft half pad from EA Mattes with pure sheepskin trim.

The spinal canal is lined with soft sheepskin and positioned directly above the horse’s spine. This sheepskin half pad reduces friction to a minimum so ideal for horses with a sensitive back or prone to rubs. It is also a great space filler if your saddle is a tad too big. This half pad features the innovative ‘Saddle Fix System’ whereby the pad simply attaches to the gullet of the saddle through slits in the pad, keeping it secure and perfectly straight at all times. No need for any straps or girth loops! Additional holes on the upper side of the half pad can be used for attaching the pad to the saddle using the Saddle Fix System. Sold separately.

Washing Instructions:
Matte’s saddle pads will last longer if washed frequently.
Machine wash, fine wash 30 degrees, with Mattes special detergent MELP for lambskin products.
Choose extra plenty of water if possible. Do not use fabric softener and preferably no other detergent for lambskins.
Normal spin
Dry tumble cold or max 30 degrees, or alternatively dry out in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight.

For easier cleaning:
Brush lightly with the rough side of a Scotch Brite sponge. Do not brush with brush, it will tear.
