Half Pad PM System – Black/Grey

A half pad made of the softest sheepskin from EA Mattes.

A sheepskin pad for increased distribution and relief of pressure across the horse’s back. EA Mattes’ saddle pads can be used directly onto the horse’s back or between the saddle and saddle pad. With this half pad, featuring front trim only, we recommend choosing a smaller size than usual to prevent the pad from sticking out too far at the rear of the saddle.

Hogsta Ridsport has this half pad in a dressage cut and with Mattes  the ‘Saddle Fix System’ whereby the pad simply attaches to the gullet of the saddle through slits in the pad, keeping it secure and perfectly straight at all times. No need for any straps or girth loops! The Saddle Fix System comes with an additional strap (sold separately) for extra freedom of movement along the horse’s spine.

Washing Instructions:
Matte’s saddle pads will last longer if washed frequently.
Machine wash, fine wash 30 degrees, with Mattes special detergent MELP for lambskin products.
Choose extra plenty of water if possible. Do not use fabric softener and preferably no other detergent for lambskins.
Normal spin
Dry tumble cold or max 30 degrees, or alternatively dry out in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight.

For easier cleaning:
Brush lightly with the rough side of a Scotch Brite sponge. Do not brush with brush, it will tear.
