Eggbutt Snaffle Cable

Bombers Eggbutt Snaffle Cable is designed to distribute the pressure evenly across the horse’s mouth.

By removing the centre links, the pressure is distributed more evenly resulting in a milder bit, similar to that of a straight bar bit. The Bombers Eggbutt Snaffle Cable features cheekpieces that prevent pinching of the horse’s lips and corners of the mouth and the bit from being pulled through the mouth. The release, however, is somewhat slower with the addition of some poll pressure. As with all Bombers bits, the Eggbutt Snaffle Cable comes handmade in sweet iron and brass to promote salivation in the horse.
