This Baucher bit is made of 89% copper, 7% aluminum, 3% iron, 1% zinc and stainless steel rings. This material contributes to a pleasant smell and taste for the horse.
The bit is anatomically shaped which gives a light, even pressure in the horse’s mouth. The Baucher bits has characteristics that encourage chewing and saliva production. The legs are designed to ease the pressure in the horse’s neck when pulling the reins.
